Prior to joining Nexia Egypt working as an Audit Partner at KRESTON INTERNATIONAL Prior to joining KRESTON working as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG Egypt. Prior to joining KPMG Egypt, Haytham has worked for EY (Ernest & Young- Egypt) & Crowe Horwath- Egypt from senior level to manger level in multiple leadership positions i.e. External Audit, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services Transactions, Training & Restructuring Services. As an audit Managing partner, Haytham has overall responsibility for managing the audit and is also responsible for most other aspects of the engagement including overseeing the resolution of technical accounting issues, managing client service expectations, liaising with executive management and resource management. Haytham also participated in major Transactions and Restructuring and securitization transactions to several financial services clients

Haytham’s area of experience includes Egyptian GAAP, IFRS and US- GAAP for Banking, insurance companies and financial institutions. Employs a motivational and inclusive leadership style to manage a high-performing, cross-functional team of directors, senior managers, supervisors and auditors. This includes talent management and succession planning. IFRS & Clarified ISAs Specialized Trainer with a Focus on to IAS 39, 32, IFRS 7 and IFRS 9 including derivatives and hedge accounting. Haytham is an Authorized and Accredited Trainer – for example but not limited to – the following: Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS) and Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI). Haytham covered Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Poland, Russia and Comoros Islands during his professional experience.
